1.1 The following Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the GoodBikeGear.com website and subdomains (referred to as “The Website” below).
1.2 By using The Website you are agreeing to and accepting these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 GoodBikeGear.com reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time and will post the updated version online as soon as possible; it is advised that you check the terms and conditions before you place an order.
1.4 Minors under 18 years of age may only use our website with the prior consent of a parent or guardian.
1.5 By placing an order via The Website, you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to these Terms and Conditions.
1.6 All orders placed are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
1.7 GoodBikeGear.com reserves the right to refuse, cancel or amend any orders or request made by you should conditions require. Orders received online will be acknowledged through an e-mail sent to your registered email address after the check-out procedure is complete. (please check your junk box if you do not receive this email.)
1.8 When ordering, you must ensure that all details you provide are accurate and true. You must be an authorised user of the payment card used to place your order or to obtain finance on our website.
1.9 Prices and product specifications as displayed on the website are subject to change at any time. From time to time, our prices online may vary from in-store prices. Our shop will not always carry the same stock as available online and some stock may need to be ‘ordered in’.
1.10 The website may contain typographical errors or other errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current.
1.11 Product images are provided for illustration purposes and colour / shade / specification may vary from those displayed.
1.12 We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse to fulfil any orders that you may place based on information on the website that may contain errors or inaccuracies, including, without limitation, errors, inaccuracies or out-of-date information regarding pricing, stock levels, shipping, payment terms, or return policies.
1.13 Dispatch times may vary according to stock availability and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible. Please see delivery information for further details.
2. GoodBikeGear.com Sales Orders Process
2.1 You may browse the site but must input your true and accurate details to place an order.
2.2 Prices displayed on the website are inclusive of UK VAT (where applicable) and subject to change at any time and at the discretion of GoodBikeGear.com.
2.3 Where applicable, delivery costs will be charged and are clearly displayed at check out. Heavy / bulky items outside of UK/Ireland may require additional payment, if applicable, we will contact you to advise before dispatch.
2.4 Once an online order is placed, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming GoodBikeGear.com’s receipt of your order. This e-mail does not constitute acceptance of your order. GoodBikeGear.com reserves the right to accept or reject this offer before processing the order.
2.5 A contract between us for the purchase of the goods will not be formed until your payment has been approved by us, the prices have been verified, and the order has been processed and dispatched.
2.6 Another e-mail will be sent confirming dispatch arrangements after we have ensured accuracy of all the order details and we have approved the purchase. In the event that there are errors, discrepancies or technical issues of any kind surrounding your order, we will contact you as early as possible.
2.7 You will be given the opportunity of placing the corrected order or of cancelling the order if preferred.
2.8 We will attempt to contact you by email and phone - if we cannot contact you for clarification, we will treat the order as cancelled and issue a full refund.
3. Estimated Times for Delivery and / or Products availability
3.1 GoodBikeGear.com standard delivery applies to mainland UK, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland only. If you are not based in the aforementioned regions and have placed an order, please select the relevant shipping method on the checkout page. Please note that shipping costs are per bike / parcel in non-UK areas.
3.2 Some bikes cannot be shipped and are for shop collection only. If you are unsure and wish to discuss collection from our shops, please contact us.
3.3 We do our best to ensure availability of all advertised products and endeavour to dispatch all bikes and parts within the quoted time, normally up to 5 working days. If there is a delay we will inform you of this via e-mail and the product will be dispatched as soon as it is available. If you have ordered multiple items, they may arrive separately.
3.4 GoodBikeGear.com accepts no liability for delays in the delivery of products ordered. We will do our best to get all orders sent out as quickly as possible. All orders will be delivered using our preferred couriers and in general the delivery window is 3-7 working days on most items, from the point of order dispatch notification. Please note, that for areas outside the UK, delivery times can be extended up to 30 working days.
3.5 Occasionally we find ourselves having to withdraw an item because it has become obsolete, warranty recalled or has been discontinued. If you have placed an order for such an item, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative.
4.1 GoodBikeGear.com operates a secure checkout accepting card payment by Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard Debit, Mastercard Credit & Maestro cards. Card payments will appear on your statement as "GoodBikeGear.com". We use 3D Secure technology which gives the best protection against card fraud.
4.2 Alternatively, you can pay by using the V12 finance option or the various Cycle Scheme’s. Please note that if you choose to pay by finance or a Cycle Scheme, your order will not be dispatched until all agreements and signatures have been verified and payment received. To reserve a bike or please a special order, you can pay a non-refundable deposit.
4.3 Our prices are quoted in GBP (£) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at prevailing UK rates at time of purchase (if applicable).
4.4 Card payment will be taken at the point of processing. If a problem in supply should occur, your payment method will be refunded as swiftly as possible. The refund may take up to 5 banking days to appear as cleared funds on your account, depending on your bank / financial institution.
4.5 Any import duties are exclusively the responsibility of the customer / purchaser.
5. Product Specifications and Suitability
5.1 GoodBikeGear.com uses product descriptions, specifications and details based on information from supplier / manufacturer at the time of writing. Product specifications and/or descriptions of any kind featured in any websites, catalogues, mail shots or flyers shall not be binding on us and are subject to change at any time. Any advice relating to sizing on items is for guidance only due to the number of variables.
5.2 We reserve the right to alter the characteristics and features of the Goods at any time and for any reason.
5.3 We shall be entitled to make such alterations to the specifications of the Goods as we may think fit.
5.4 GoodBikeGear.com shall not be held responsible for the accuracy of any advice given regarding the suitability or otherwise for sizing purposes or of any parts required for the repair of an item. We recommend calling to our shop to ensure you select the correct size.
5.5 If you have ordered an item that has an unsuitable product description we can remedy this by providing a full refund upon the return of the item – please refer to our returns and refunds policy.
5.6 We encourage you to ensure all parts are fitted by a competent person in accordance with manufacturer specifications. GoodBikeGear.com cannot be held liable for any damage caused by the fitting of a part.
5.7 Bikes collected from our shop or dispatched to UK/Ireland will have a PDI carried out to CyTech standard. Due to shipping restrictions, bikes sold elsewhere will require some minor assembly which should be carried out by a qualified bike mechanic .
5.8 Please ensure that you have read your warranty conditions before attempting to install a part or otherwise repair item. GoodBikeGear.com cannot be held responsible if the item is damaged or your warranty is voided. Some manufacturer guarantees may be on condition that you use a qualified cycle CyTech technician.
5.9 Bikes which require shipping will require some minor assembly. We recommend you use a suitably qualified person to carry out this assembly.
5.10 Bikes will be shipped as per UK specifications, including brake set up.
6. GoodBikeGear.com Returns / Refunds & Warranty Policy
6.1 GoodBikeGear.com offers a cancellation / returns policy in line with UK Consumer Contract Regulations June 2014 as below:
6.2 Orders may be cancelled at any time before they are dispatched and you are notified of dispatch by e-mail. If you have already been notified that your order has been dispatched then please read on:
6.3 We will offer an exchange or refund of your product within 14 days of receipt, as long as the product is unused, undamaged and remains in its original packaging.
*Please note that there are some goods which cannot be returned, these include personalised items (unless faulty), perishable goods and items which are non-returnable for hygiene reasons (e.g. underwear). If you are unsure if you can return your item please call us on 02890834056 or email firstname.lastname@example.org before posting the item.
6.4 In order to help us efficiently process your return, complete our returns form, and send a printed copy of it along with the goods to:

For the security of your goods, we recommend returning your item via secure post (i.e. a service which requires signature for receipt of goods).We also recommend that you insure goods in transit to their full value.
6.4a For Non-Defective / Non-error goods orders:
For a full refund on non-defective, non-damaged goods, where the goods have been correctly dispatched to you according to order contract, the entire order (or agreed part order) needs to be returned back to us in its original packaging, undamaged or soiled and in a condition suitable for sale. You must notify us in writing by email within 14 days of receipt, we must then receive the goods within a further 14 days. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. They are returned at your own cost and risk. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession - this applies to all goods that are returned. If a refund is payable to you we will send you email notification and process the refund as soon as possible, and this will be processed within 5 working days.
6.4b For Defective / Error goods orders:
From time to time Goods supplied may become defective, we are happy to issue you a refund within 28 days of purchase.
If the item you received is not as described (subject to point 5) or has been damaged, we are happy to refund your postage costs for sending the item back to us up to a cost of £10. In order for us to refund your postage costs, please send a copy of your postage receipt along with the returned items, or send an email with a copy of the receipt to email@example.com Refunds will only be made to the payment card used to purchase the item.
If you return goods within 28 days of purchase claiming they are defective, damaged or incorrect according to order contract, we will examine the returned goods and will notify you of your refund, or otherwise via email within 5 working days of the goods being received in our shop. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and confirm via email that your refund has been processed or otherwise.
6.5 Refund Timing:
Due to variations between banking systems, please be aware that refunds can take up to an additional 7 banking days to appear on your account from the date of the email confirming your refund. Normally, however, refunds take 3-5 banking days.
6.6 When we are processing a refund to you, we will refund the money onto the same card originally used by you to place the order.
6.7 Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
6.8 For Warranty on Defective Goods:
From time to time a product or part may fail and, depending upon the manufacturer's T&C, this may be covered by Warranty. If you have a potential warranty issue, in the first instance, please contact us directly by e-mail as soon as possible with full details of the defect. Include high resolution images or video where appropriate. Please do not take your bike or item to any third-party provider or other bike shop before contacting us. GoodBikeGear.com will not be responsible for any unauthorised costs incurred as a result of third party inspection, advice or works carried out. All warranties are on a "return to shop" basis for replacement, repair or forwarding to the manufacturer for warranty inspection and decision. All Warranty return costs are at the expense of the customer and we recommend that all returned items are tracked and recorded and where applicable insured. GoodBikeGear will cover the cost of sending the repaired / replacement goods back to the customer.

7.1 We shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third parties claims. We have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered. You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time and get a refund prior to the item being despatched. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
7.2 Due to the nature of cycling, we strongly recommend you take out a suitable cycling insurance policy.
7.3 We recommend you use suitable protection including helmet and suitable protection wear at all times.
8. Governing Law
8.1 GoodBikeGear.com Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Northern Ireland. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Northern Ireland’s courts.
